Step Sisters, Shamus and Sunscreen!

Hi there - Well it's official - we are "theme parked" out! We certainly aren't cold that is for sure, Florida has been having a spring heat wave, it has been 90 degrees for the last 10 days and the forecast is remaining the same for the next short while.

We visited the last of 4 Disney World parks which of course is a favorite - Magic Kingdom. Everyone enjoyed the Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain and the list goes on and on. Emma and Leah just loved meeting the characters that roam around - Emma was thrilled to see her special friend Barney and Leah was happy to see Daisy Duck (but mad she didn't get to meet Donald). Getting to meet the step sisters and step mother from Cinderella was a highlight. Wow are they something - they made Leah do a dance for them. We wrapped the evening up by watching the fireworks over Cinderella's castle which were amazing - we even saw a special appearance from Tinkerbell.
Seaworld was our next stop where we got to watch sea lion, dolphin and whale shows and of course the fabulous Shamus show!! We saw a huge group of penguins which was quite interesting but are they ever stinky! The highlight though was getting to play and feed the dolphins - they are so cute.

Our final Orlando destination was Aquatica - a huge waterpark which is part of Seaworld. This was a great way to spend yet another hot day tubing down the rivers, sliding and riding the waves. The big excitement at this park was the waterslide which is a clear tube and goes through a dolphin pond.We are off tomorrow heading north to the St. Augustine area. Did you know that St. Augustine is the oldest community in North America and is also the home of the World Golf Village??

There were lots of great comments about your favorite Disney characters. Now for our next question which is inspired from the evil step sisters and step mother, who do you think is the all time worst Disney villian??

Bye for now.

We could use some of that warm weather up here! I think the evil queen from sleeping beauty is the worst one. Although I do admire some of her tricks.

I agree with Helen about the evil queen, i think her name was Maleficent? If you are going to send us some weather make sure rain comes with it. The ground is so hard and dry the gophers can't dig holes. Missed you at mens night Ray. I have a question for Ray and if he gets it right he will win a bottle of Captian Morgans spiced rum. Here it is: on mens night at the end of the 7 hole i had shot 30, at the end of the 9th hole i shot 46, what did i shoot on hole 8 and what did i shoot on hole 9 to take the 46?

Take care Paul

As an old Cub leader the worst evil one is Shere Khan from the Jungle Book.
Some warm weather would be nice here too but no rain.

I think it's Snow White's evil step mom - but that's how step moms are. Myself I thought she had some good ideas.Janice

The all time worst Disney villian is of course Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty but since that has already been guessed my second guess is Ursula from the Little Mermaid. Leah I miss you in gym class because our squad is always one player short!!

Hi Paulie:
Tyrone and I are frightened by Cruella Da Ville - she yearns for his spots!

My guess for your question is you shot 2 snowmen (8) on each hole - your usual score. Should have stayed away from Lynn's "doubles". Glad to hear you found someone else to golf/bug on mens night - I'm moved on too - now hangin with Sergio at the Players Championship - stay tuned for our next blog entry - it's a gooder!!

The answer, of course, is Cruella!

We're glad to see that you're having a GREAT time. Hope you get to see Cape Canaveral too!
