Green Grass at Last!

Hi all - We finally made it out of the snow - we even saw green grass today!  After navigating our way through Salt Lake City - we ended our journey today in the beautiful St. George, Utah.  The red rocks are stunning - check out the link here of Zion National Park .

It was even so nice out this evening we all played a quick game of basketball!  Tomorrow we plan to continue into Nevada, in the Lake Mead area.

Just a point of clarity, it was brought to our attention that it was actually Merle Werseen not Terry who answered the Montana millionaire question correctly.  Uncle Phil was the first to answer the question about the Utah fry sauce - your prize will be in the mail shortly!

The question of the day - What is the name of the gas station that we regularly fill up the motorhome at??  Nice to see diesel around 2 bucks a gallon (that's around 57 cents/litre)!!

Bye for now,

It must be Costco for fuel.
Are you going over to Rachel Nevada on the Extraterrestrial Hwy? Sounds more out of the world then Vegas.

Hey guys!
Sounds like you are having quite the time already! I must say i wish that I could have jumped into your van and came along. The snow storm sounds like one heck of a crazy time, but the area you are in now looks breath taking. I hope you will ask a question that I might actually know the answer to soon! Maybe when you hit NY CITY in a few months I will be able to get that one... hopefully one before then!
Miss you all xoxo

Is there such a thing as "American Tire"? If there was would you get "American Tire Money"? Would Ray still have $1,000's?

The answer to the question is the one Ray sees has the cheapest price. No brand loyalty with him, it all about the bucks. We share that philosopy.

I've never blogged before, this is cool. Feels like I'm on the trip.

LEAH!, did you get some smarties yet? I've got some kewl games for us to play.

EMMA! did you see any awesome animals yet?

CARMEN? are you ready to come home yet?

Greetings
Costco was the 2nd cheapest fuel in Salt Lake. Sams was the best but Walmart was taken.
How about Petro Stopping Centers.

Fry sauce is a mixture of mayo and ketchup

Pauly and Sammy think Ray is stopping at truck stops, and siphoning diesel from the truckers when there not looking. He probably has Carmen standing in the middle of the parking lot scantily clad to keep the truckers busy while he is refueling. Or else it could be 7-11's where he is getting his fuel.

Cheers Ray
