We are staying at the beautiful Lake Mead National Recreation area which is only about 20 minutes from Las Vegas. The location is perfect, we are close to the city but we are on the outside which works great for all of us (especially Tyrone who loves the canyons). Today we toured the strip via double decker “Deuce” bus. The highlights were seeing the Freemont street area, Circus Circus performance and the tigers at the MGM.
Yesterday we dined at the very busy In and Out Burger Restaurant.
So we plan to stick around here for a couple more days – we want to explore Lake Mead and hit some factory outlet malls! Then we will continue south to the Lake Havasu area.
About the blog question – None of you are right! The correct answer is The Flying J Travel Plaza.
Our next question: Emma and Leah were very excited to see all the limos in Las Vegas – they would like you to guess how many they saw today.
A bonus question – We want to hear your best Las Vegas story (just remember this is a family blog).

It was a beautiful -25' here last night with no grass showing but lots of snow on top of the ice.
We saw 1 limo in Brandon and 2 Super B's in Hamiota. I would guess more limos in Vegas but not as many Super B's. My guess would be 23 limos seen in Vegas.
Area 51 would be a good place to visit and find information for your novels Emma.
Nice face Leah would not want to play poker against you.

it sounds like u guys r having lots of fun!! Leah could Morgan join u to pursue her dancing in vegas together.hows Tyrone doing on this trip? Morgan says that she had a wonderful 2 days @ skool becuase all they did was watch movies and play games in all her classes!! Do u guys only have 2 days of skool this week too?
